Before You Call

The questions we get from people who have not used a commercial print shop before.

What kinds of printing do you do in house?

Blueprints and large format, carbonless NCR forms and invoice books, legal documents and binding, booklets, business cards, flyers and brochures, product manuals and inserts, and property management printing. Promotional products go through our sister company, Northview Promo. If you are not sure whether something falls inside that list, call and ask. We will tell you straight if it is not something we do well.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum on digital runs. One print, twelve booklets, a single business card for proofing. That is the main practical difference between a local shop and an online printer with a case minimum. Pricing per piece does drop at higher quantities, so tell us the number you actually need and we will quote it.

How fast can you turn something around?

Most orders are ready within the same week. Anything that needs binding or finishing takes longer than straight printing. If you have a fixed date, call before noon with the deadline and we will tell you honestly what is achievable rather than give you a vague estimate and miss it.

Can I walk in, or do I need an appointment?

Walk in. We are at 603 Millway Ave Unit 2 in Concord, two minutes off Highway 400, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Bringing the job in person is often faster than email, especially if you want to see paper stocks or talk through options before committing.

What file format should I send?

PDF is best for almost everything. It holds scale, fonts, and line quality reliably. Send it and we will check it before anything runs. If all you have is a Word file, a photo of an old form, or a logo pulled off a website, send that too and we will tell you whether it will print cleanly or needs rebuilding.

Do you keep my files for reorders?

Yes. Once a job runs, your artwork stays on record. A reorder is one call with the quantity and we go straight to print, with no re-setup and no re-quoting from scratch. A lot of our regular clients work this way and call a few times a year when stock gets low.
